THE GOOD WIFE, de Ken CAMERON, 1987, Australie, 98 min.
Marge, sensuelle, bonne épouse, vit avec son mari plutôt docile, bûcheron dans une ville australienne isolée. Seule et se sentant abandonnée Marge est à la fois excitée et révoltée lorsqu’un nouveau barman sexy, Neville, tente de la séduire, sans succès.
Cependant, ses passions déchaînées l’entraînent, à son tour, à approcher Neville pour s’apercevoir de son indifférence et de ses humiliations en public. Alors que l’obsession de Marge pour Neville devient accablante, Sonny est forcé d’agir non seulement pour sauver son couple mais aussi la vie de son épouse.

Le sortant du nid familial avec tout son amour paternel –sorties dans les bars gay de Sydney- il devient son plus grand complice et admirateur. C’est l’aventure secrète de Harry avec une femme divorcée, attractive et pourvue de préjugés qui entraînera le père et le fils dans ces contradictions et leur fera découvrir que la tolérance est à double sens.

X (Vanessa de Largie) and Z (Alex Spears) forment un couple de vampires qui vivent dans un ancien entrepôt dans le centre-ville de Melbourne. Au cours d'une nuit, ils se livrent à leurs occupations habitueles, faisant équipe avec le poète-cannibale Seers (Patrick Boyle) et un autre vampire Vee (HaiHa Le). Après une étrange rencontre avec la mystérieuse Rola (Jennifer Levy), le monde de X et Z commence à changer.
Un film vampirique et philosophique.

X (Vanessa de Largie) and Z (Alex Spears) are a vampire couple, living in an old warehouse in inner-city Melbourne. Over the course of one night, they go about their regular business, teaming up with the poet-cannibal Seers(Patrick Boyle) and another vampire Vee (HaiHa Le). After a strange encounter with the mysterious Rola (Jennifer Levy), the fabric of X and Z's world begins to change.

THE YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSELY (L’Année de Tous les Dangers), de Peter Weir, 1982, Australie, 115 min.

1965, Jakarta, Indonésie. Un jeune journaliste australien (Mel Gibson) effectue son premier reportage alors qu'un putsch militaire se prépare…

Romance and drama play out against the backdrop of political strife in Indonesia in the 1960s. Mel Gibson plays an Australian journalist, Guy Hamilton, on his first important outing abroad. Arriving in Jakarta in '65, shortly before the coup that all but deposed president Sukarno, Guy is immediately thrust into a hot bed of political turmoil. With the help of Chinese-Australian photographer Billy Kwan, Guy is exposed to the highest strata of political society. After getting romantically involved with a British diplomat, he resists leaving the war torn country until it's too late, in spite of entreats.
