Description
One of Paris' funnest races, the Corrida de Noël, a 6K in Issy-les-Moulineaux (behind "Aquaboulevard"), is not a race that you enter for a PB, but simply for a good time. All runners are dressed up - the organization provides an optional Santa costume. Thousands of families come to spectate, children watching in awe as thousands of Santas run by, many of them handing out candy. A sight to remember! Note that this race used to be a 10K with a hill, and that they changed it to 6K without a hill to make it easier and attract more runners. So even if you've never participated in a race before, sign up for this one and come join the fun! For information and to register: http://corrida-noel-issy.com/accueil.php You are responsible for your own registration, as well as for picking up your bib. We will participate in race #7, "6 km déguisé", which starts at 12:40pm. We will meet at 12:00 noon in front of the little church with is on the right of the Palais des Sports (starting line). If you can't find us (the description "I'll be the one wearing the santa suit" would usually suffice, but not in this case), you can call me at 06 09 64 71 41. Note that as in all races in France, you will need to present a MEDICAL CERTIFICATE - DON'T FORGET to ask your doctor for one!
