Description
World-renowned pianist Jeffrey Siegel will be the featured guest for an Artist in Residence dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Lon's.
Siegel has been a soloist with some of the world's great orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony, Moscow State Symphony and the Orchestra of La Scala. His U.S. engagements have included the New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
The artist dinner will provide a rare treat as Jeffrey Siegel plays a short musicale and takes you on an intimate journey as he shares his lively, engaging insights, anecdotes and stories about various composers and their music. His relaxed and personal way of sharing information is enjoyable whether you are a music aficionado or would simply like to become one.
The dinner is in partnership with the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The piano is being provided by Steinway of Phoenix.
The Artist in Residence dinner at Lon's will feature four courses of Artful American cuisine including hand-selected wines. Cost for the artist dinner with Jeffrey Siegel is $99 per person, including tax and gratuity.
The Hermosa Inn is offering a special package for the Artist in Residence evening that includes a one-night stay for two in a casita, the four-course dinner with wine pairings, pre-dinner reception, a presentation and question-and-answer time with Jeffery Siegel, and breakfast for two the following morning. Cost for the package is $398.
Lon's welcoming and intimate atmosphere features a ruggedly elegant dining room with wood-beamed ceilings, vintage Western artifacts and beehive fireplaces that accent the meandering dining space. The charming restaurant features the artworks of the historic inn's original owner, Lon Megargee.
