Walking Event:

St. Andrews State Park is open daily from 7a.m. til dusk, seasonally in winter months. (Jan - Mar, and Oct - Dec). The Environmental Interpretive Center is open year round from 9AM to 4PM. The St. Andrews State Park is located on the eastern end of Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach. The Hours of the Environmental Interpretive Center are from 9AM to 4PM. Upon Arrival at the park ask the rangers for the direction to the Jetty Store. The Start and Finish Point of the Volksmarch is at the Jetty Store. The Park is not that large and the Jetty Store will be easy to find here. The Jetty Store is the Starting/ Finishing Point. Please do not venture out on route after 2pm in the fall and winter months. Dusk comes rapidly to the FL panhandle and the route is not lighted. This park boasts paved roads, a camp ground, a beautiful sandy beach with Jetty and shallow swimming lagoon area, and trails that change in characteristics, from paved road to sand to hardpack and back. Definitely a 2+ walk. Please carry water and bug spray. The trail takes you away from amenitites out in tothe REALFL. It encompasses woods, lakes, etc. This is a very nice, quiet park in the winter months. St. Andrews State Park entry fee is $5. and is paid at the enterance. The Park Staff is very friendly. This park is located within 5 miles of a MAJOR outlet shopping center.
