If your New Year's resolution is to maximize your email marketing
click throughs and conversions, then this session is for you!
Learn how to get your emails through spam filters. Hear how to
design for preview panes and blocked images. See how to make your
emails appear the same in every email browser. Discover the
latest response data and techniques around personalization and PDAs.

What you'll learn:

- How spam filters work and how to avoid them
- Check lists for spammy words and coding errors to avoid
- Design techniques to get your email opened from the preview pane
- How to design your email to look the same on all browsers
- Design tips for PDAs

SPEAKER:

DAVID B. BEASLEY is co-founder of a Silicon Valley direct
marketing agency, Beasley Direct Marketing, Inc., that has
managed direct mail and online programs for hundreds of
companies, increasing direct-mail and email delivery and response
rates and offering advanced personalization and offer strategies.
The agency is a recipient of multiple marketing honors, including
the Echo, Summit, Marcom, Pyramid, and Caples awards. Dave is an
instructor in advanced email marketing at UC Berkeley Extension.

Regular Meeting Day and Time:
2nd Thursday of each month @ 8:30 a.m.

before the meeting.
