Beauty and the Beast (A Second Saturday Series Show)

Belle, who dreams of life outside her provincial village, finds herself trapped in the castle of the Beast. In the beginning Belle views the Beast as nothing more than a monster, and he in turn views her as difficult and stubborn. But the two soon realize they are wrong, and out of their unexpected love, a magical spell is broken that changes the Beast forever. It's the most beautiful love story ever told. This production will be held in the Dormouse Black Box Theatre - it's a Second Saturday Series Show performed by the Palo Alto Children's Theatre High School Company. All of the shows are interactive, so the audience helps the actors tell the story with sound and movement. Playing time is approximately 45 minutes and is geared toward young audiences and their parents.
