Kimberly Popovits, President & CEO, Genomic Health
"Delivering the Promise of Genomics to Clinical Practice in
Cancer" will focus on the challenges and opportunities Genomic
Health has faced in its journey to make Oncotype DX standard of
care in breast cancer treatment planning, and the company's
efforts moving forward to apply this approach across tumors.
Kimberly Popovits, President, Chief Operating Officer brings
over twenty years of Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical
experience to Genomic Health. Kim has successfully led the
commercialization of eleven novel therapeutics in her tenure
with both American Critical Care, and for the past fourteen
years, with Genentech Inc. where she served as a Senior Vice
President. Kim has extensive experience in building new
markets and has consistently achieved market leadership through
the development of innovative strategies focused on patient
needs. She led the launch of Genentech's Oncology Business as
well as the development of their Cardiovascular, Endocrine, and
Respiratory markets. Kim also brings extensive operational
experience in the areas of Managed Care, Reimbursement and
Organization Development. She received her BA degree from
Michigan State University.
