PALMYRA COVE HOSTS 4TH ANNUAL 'WINTERFEST'

Free Holiday Celebration For All Ages


Start the holiday festivities by attending Palmyra Cove Nature Park's 4th annual Winterfest, a fun-filled free holiday event for the entire family.

Indoor and outdoor attractions include live reindeer, wolves and alpacas, horse-drawn carriage rides, a dog sled team on wheels, face painting, Tracker the Rescue Dog, birds of prey demonstration, petting zoo, balloon artists, a strolling magician and much more. Additional festivities include the music of Madrigal singers and the Pine Barons Chorus, and a special appearance by the one and only Santa Claus! Attendees can also get a jump-start on holiday shopping with unique gifts for sale by local crafters, and enjoy tasty seasonal snacks from a variety of food vendors.

Palmyra Cove Nature Park and Environmental Discovery Center is located at 1335 Route 73 north on the Delaware River, just south of the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. For more information, call (856) 829-1900 ext. 264 or visit palmyracove.org. The Environmental Discovery Center - a 10,000 square-foot facility featuring interactive exhibits - is free and open to the public. Hours for the Center are Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Park opened dawn to dusk daily.

Palmyra Cove Nature Park
Palmyra Cove Nature Park PCNP is 350 acres of green in a highly developed area on the Delaware River just south of the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. With its woodlands, wetlands, tidal cove and wild river shore line, PCNP serves as an important feeding site for migratory birds. The Environmental Discovery Center houses interactive displays that offer opportunities to learn about the wide array of plants, birds, and other wildlife to be found in the Park.
