A Concert With JEREMY FACKNITZ

The Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts (TLCA) begins its 2010 concert series with an outstanding local musical talent. On Friday, January 8, 2010, the TLCA presents Jeremy Facknitz In Concert. Jeremy is a native of Michigan and has been performing and touring for the past 11 years in bands and as a solo-artist all over the United States. Jeremy is an accomplished singer/songwriter and sings a collection of blues, jazz, and folk. Since he made his home in Colorado Springs in 2007, Jeremy has developed a strong reputation as a charismatic performer while building a large following in Colorado. Bill Reed of the Colorado Springs Gazette describes Jeremy as ". . . a charismatic guy with an appealing voice. As a solo artist, Facknitz clearly developed a driving rhythm style on the acoustic (guitar) to propel his music. When his sound is backed by a band, the layers of rhythm and harmony are quite tasty. I hope to hear a lot more of this guy." Jeremy will appear with his backup band "The Charlie Milo Trio." Lindsay Weidman will begin the evening's festivities.
