Writing Boot Camp for Graduate Students

Writing Boot Camp enables graduate students to devote two days at the end of winter break exclusively to writing. The Howe Center will provide a quiet place, power for computers, lunch, and snacks. Boot Camp is a great way to launch your spring semester research/creative projects. Details below.

WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?
To participate, you must be a graduate student who is willing to commit to spending two full days at Camp. If you cannot attend for the entire time both days, please do not register.

WHEN IS BOOT CAMP?
January 7 and 8 (Thursday and Friday).

WILL WE SHARE OUR WRITING?
Only if you want to. And only during breaks. This is not a writing workshop.

IS IT HARD WORK?
You bet. That is why it is called Boot Camp. But everyone there will be working just as hard as you are at staying in a chair throughout each of the writing periods.
