Event details: John Corvino on What's Morally Wrong With Homosexuality?
Description
John Corvino will be speaking as a philosopher, a moralist and as a gay rights advocate on the contentiousness of homosexuality. Dr. Corvino will discuss the most popular accusations against homosexuality's morality and will ultimately argue that homosexuality is not immoral; but rather we have a moral obligation to treat gay people (and all people) fairly.
Thursday Nov. 12 at 7:00 PM in 101 Bachelor Hall.
Co-sponsors: Spectrum, Secular Students of Miami, Lights on Campus, and GLBTQ Services.
Following his lecture there will be a Q&A session with Dr. Corvino.
For further discussion, stop by the Campus Ministry Center (16 S. Campus) on Friday November 13th at 12 pm for lunch and a "Food for Thought" Discussion about Dr. Corvino's Lecture.
