By constant public demand, SevenThirty Productions presents a revival of The Kings of the Kilburn High Road by Jimmy Murphy, with the return of the full original cast: Jerome Bourgault, Pierre Brault, Don Laflamme, David McCallum, and Brian Stewart and directed by John P. Kelly. Set in an Irish bar in modern day London, five Irish emigrants mourn the loss of their friend. They 'wake' him in ways only known to the Irish; they sing and they curse their way in bitterness, drinking their whiskey and their pints as they bite the hand that feeds them, their new homeland, England. The Kings of the Kilburn High Road is both mercilessly funny and tragic. No holds are barred as this group bare all in their quest for some requite as their youth drains away.
