The Danish band played at the Øya Festival 12 August, and now they have a new album out, "No More Stories/Are Told Today/I'm Sorry/They Washed Away/No More Stories/ The World is Grey/ I'm Tired/Let's Wash Away".
The trio is one of Scandinavia's most popular bands. Their albums "Frengers" from 2003 and "And the Glass Handed Kites" from 2005 enjoyed both commercial and critical success. The new album has also received rave reviews from many critics.
In addition to the Øya show, Mew has played in Oslo several times the last few years. The band has opened for R.E.M. at Ullevaal Stadium and played shows at the Norwegian Wood festival and at Rockefeller.
