This undeniably stylish French duo emerged fully formed in 1998 with the masterpiece Moon Safari and immediately set a high-water mark in the music world by taking the cheesy aesthetic of synthesizer music and coaxing it into something elegant, conceptual and retro-modern. More than a decade later, AIR still remains one of the most dazzling modern pop acts of this generation, and they're playing their first American shows in over three years. For the first time on these dates, the band will be performing their live show as an intimate three-piece, with core members Nicolas Godin and JB Dunckel taking on full instrumental and vocal duties, and Alex Thomas (Bat For Lashes, Badly Drawn Boy) on drums and percussion.
