Description
See the historic Victorian homes of Opelika transformed into an Old World Christmas wonderland. Over 60 turn-of-the-century homes are adorned with life-size Santas, angels, toys, teddy bears, carousel horses, and other figures. Featured in Southern Living and Better Homes and Gardens, Opelika artist Jan Jones and her staff have spent years creating the impressive displays by loving hand. The local neighborhood association now takes the lead in maintaining the displays and staging the event each year.

Voted one of the Southeast's top tourism events, this unique spectacle is now in its 15th year and sees more than 10,000 visitors annually.
A self-directed driving or walking tour, the event includes live entertainment, carolers, costumed homeowners, and other festivities. Streets are closed on Saturday, weather permitting, for walking tours only. The tour begins at North 8th Street & 2nd Avenue and includes over ten city blocks. Admission to this spectacular production is free.
