Description
The Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards will be holding their Fall Nominees Showcase on Friday November 13th at five music venues in downtown Benson. Those venues are The Waiting Room Lounge, Burkes Pub, The Barley Street Tavern, The Sydney, and The PS Collective. This one night showcase will feature the bands and artists nominated for the 2009 Omaha Arts & Entertainment Awards which will be happening in January of 2010. Over thirty bands and artists will be performing from many different genre’s including rock, metal, hip-hop, reggae, blues, soul, songwriters, indie, pop, and more. Proceeds from this event go towards putting on the January awards show. It’s a great way to see the best of what Omaha has to offer musically and to support the OEA’s in their quest to recognize Omaha’s artistic talents in the theater, visual arts, and music.
