John Morgan

John Paul Morgan was born in New Orleans on February 19, 1964. He has lived in Louisiana all of his life. He left New Orleans to attend college at the University of Southwestern Louisiana where he earned degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice. He continued at USL in interpersonal communications. While a student at USL, both on the undergraduate level and the masters level, John was heavily involved in student government. He held numerous offices, both elective and appointed, in student government. Throughout John Morgan's college career, as well as the present, he has enjoyed the gift of humor. John has traveled the country doing stand-up comedy. On October 10, 1993, John was voted "The Funniest Man in a tri-state area." He has premiered on Showtime, HBO, and MTV. He has opened for such names as Helen Reddy, Ronnie Cole, The Monkee's, Michael Bolton, and Jerry Seinfeld.
