The Cisco ICND course is designed for IT staff who want to learn the fundamentals of implementing Cisco switches and routers in multi protocol internetworks. Participants will learn the differences between simple routing protocols and how to configure them through hands-on instruction and lab projects. This course provides the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting information that beginning routing technicians need to operate Cisco products effectively. Our certified instructors use the official Cisco Press textbook, mapping to exam 640-507 for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Participants should have experience working within a networked environment, and a basic understanding of networking terminology, topologies and the OSI model. The Network+ course is strongly recommended prior to taking this course.
