Centrally located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, The Cox Convention Center (home to The Cox Convention Center Arena) first opened its doors to the public in 1972. The multi-purpose venue now stands as one of the premier events facilities in the state.
With a seated capacity of close to 15,000, the Cox Convention Center Arena is the ideal spot for a wide variety of live entertainment and sporting events. Indeed, this particular venue is the current home of the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons, and the Bricktown Brawlers of the IFL (Indoor Football League.)
While these tenants certainly keep the Cox Convention Center Arena schedule abuzz, they are far from being the venue's only draw. Concerts are a particular highlight here, with many of the biggest names in music having played the Cox Center Arena in the past.
