Doctors Hold Health Reform Forum in Oklahoma City

Discussions with Doctors will Explore Reform and Answer Patients’ Questions

*Doctors for America’s* Oklahoma physicians are hosting a forum to discuss the health reform proposals, to talk about Oklahoma’s broken health care system and answer questions about health reform. The event will be organized and hosted by Dr. Boyd Shook and Dr. Kathy Scheirman.

“Dr. Shook and Dr. Scheirman have been actively promoting and engaging in thoughtful discussions about health reform throughout Oklahoma. Too often there is misinformation and unanswered questions about health reform without a real dialogue with those who know the system best - physicians. This forum is a great opportunity for people in and around Oklahoma City to talk to experts on the frontlines every day about what works and what doesn’t workin the health care system,” said Mandy K. Cohen, Executive Director of *Doctors for America*.

*Doctors for America* is a grassroots group of over 15,000 physicians in all fifty states committed to passing meaningful health reform legislation. The group works to convey the ideas and experiences of physicians in order to achieve reform that provides high quality, affordable healthcare for all Americans.
