Currently, I am an investigator with Eastern Paranormal Research (EPR) based out of Accokeek, Maryland (http://www.easternparanormalresearch.com/), and I am the case manager for Paranormal Research and Investigation Society of Maryland (PRISMd.) based out of Catonsville, Maryland (www.freewebs.com/PRISMd). A combination of my love for American History and being an avid reader of Stephen King since I was 8 years old is what fueled my curiosity and desire to learn more about the paranormal. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to work and meet some of the most known names in the field, investigated a number of places that are historically significant as well as help private homeowners understand what might be happening in their dwellings, and been able to network with some great investigators from across the country. I was born and raised outside of Annapolis, Maryland, a location full of some of the earliest history of this country. I have lived in various locations in Maryland as well as a short-time spent in Georgia. Currently, I reside in the suburbs between Baltimore and Annapolis with my teenage son in a home that has a spirit of its own. My quest for answers as taken me across the country to various locales where I have collected a plethora of evidence of the supernatural, including pictures, videos, and EVPs. My desire to learn is never quenched and I am actively seeking out new locations to investigate. In between investigations and writing, I spend my free time volunteering at Point Lookout Lighthouse in Scotland, Maryland. Located at the southern tip of Maryland's Western Shore, the lighthouse and surrounding park have a deep history and many documented spirits that roam the ground. Home to a POW camp during the Civil War, the land has seen its share of atrocities and human suffering. Several times throughout the year, we allow the lighthouse to be investigated by groups that are interested in gathering their own evidence at "America's Most Haunted Lighthouse". All monies raised by such events, and others we hold throughout the year, go towards the preservation of the lighthouse. For more information, please visit http://www.pllps.org/. If you are interested in conducting an investigation of the lighthouse, please click on the "Visit" link on that page to review available dates and contact information to arrange the event. http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/5/5/2/c/thumb_11121804.jpegRosemary Ellen Guiley is a leading expert on the paranormal, with 42 books in print on a wide variety of subjects.
