O.co Coliseum

Located next to the Oracle Arena in the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum sports complex, O.co Coliseum (commonly known as The Oakland Coliseum) is the only place for fans of East Bay athletics. The stadium is home to both the Oakland A's and the Raiders, and the enthusiastic fans of both teams have come to consider O.Co Coliseum a second home. With two great sports teams occupying the same stadium, the event schedule at O.Co Coliseum is always full of exciting events that keep fans returning for tickets again and again.

Originally known as the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, the stadium opened in 1966. This was four years after the Raiders had been formed (they temporarily played their first few years at Frank Youell Field), and two years before the A's moved to Oakland from Kansas City. Though the Raiders have gone and returned since then, the stadium has remained a sanctuary for East Bay sports fans; as well as the last stadium to schedule two different sports teams. There have been rumors over the past few years about the Raiders and A's heading to different stadiums, leaving the future of O.co Coliseum up in the air. Even if the teams do receive new stadiums, that history held inside The Coliseum will live on in the hearts of fans for years to come.
