Yoga For Parents Free At Family Paths Meetup

Yoga for Parents (near downtown Oakland) Come enjoy an hour of yoga with other parents. Receive guidance in body awareness exercises, beginning yoga poses and breathing practices all which bring forth your inner peacefulness. Inner peace can guide you when parenting your children. Assisting you when interactions between you and your child start to get stressed or challenging. Yoga decreases stress, calms the nervous system, and quiets the mind, which parents so deserve to experience. Although quieting the mind will occur in this class, being playful and having fun occur naturally. An 8 week series will begin Wednesday, May 27th through July 15th. The class will begin at 11:00am and end at 12:00pm. The class will be held at Family Paths, Inc., a non-profit agency that has served children and families for 37 years. She is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist, a certified beginners level Integral Hatha Yoga instructor, and has been trained in Yoga Therapy, and Tri-Yoga.
