The Enneagram describes nine distinct personality drives within all people. Each of us has one primary drive, with an unequal mixture of the other eight. This results in nine different ways of relating to each other and the world, nine unique points of view.

The Enneagram gives specific and profound insight as to how and why people have these different ways of seeing the world and handling life. It reveals deep motivations that lie hidden in the unconscious and lights a path to freedom, empowerment, and love. It is a remarkably helpful tool for personal growth, relationships, and groups. It is used by therapists, counselors, management consultants, teachers, writers, and a rapidly increasing number of individuals who want to expand their self-awareness and understanding of others and our world.

In this class you will learn:
• The nine personality drives – the fundamental energies of personality
• How and why these drives become a part of our personality
• How to harness these drives so they work for us instead of against us
• How the drives interrelate in an easy to understand system
• The strengths and downfalls of each drive
• Techniques to type ourselves and others
• How to use the Enneagram in everyday life for empowerment and fun!
• To use the Enneagram to increase compassion and understanding
• To bring more harmony and balance to ourselves, our relationships, and our world.

This class will include two participatory excercises. One will be an interactive typing practice - where a few people unsure of their type will serve as examples of how to determine type. Everyone will also be creating their "Soul's Window" and their "Trap," a pair of simple diagrams to show a way to work with the Enneagram as a map for growth and evolution. Do bring pen and paper for this.

Ken Jenkins has studied, taught, and used the Enneagram for over two decades. His thorough knowledge of the Enneagram compliments a broad foundation of deep psychological and metaphysical understanding, gained from decades of study and personal growth work with Lazaris and many other teachers. Ken has studied with most of the major teachers of the Enneagram and has been chosen to be a speaker at two International Enneagram Association national conferences.
