Here at The Maze in Nottingham we bring you the most diverse range of live music and entertainment with events on virtually every night of the week. Ranging from the Boogaloo boys, who on the first Saturday of every month; provide soulful dance floor bombs, to local original bands including Grain, Old Basford, The Hellset Orchestra, Wholesome Fish, Idiot Joy, Stoatz and Deep Sound Channel to name but a VERY few. (To the 400 different bands and artists that have played this year sorry we couldn’t name all of you!!) Comedy is covered by the Fun House Comedy guys who every month showcase the finest up and coming comedy acts in and around the Midlands (X Factor Styley!!!). We also work with the best promoters the city has to offer. The Maze proudly presents shows with Cosmic American music bringing huge names from the USA and UK. The Damn You Lads host the most alternative music from around the world. Looking after the underground scene we have Saggy-Pants, Audio Massage, Folkwit, Farmyard records, Riot promoters, Supernight, Default this and Cult Night providing music from folk to drum and bass, rock to funk and indie music to reggae Other acts to have played The Maze include Pama International (members of Madness, Specials and Lee Scrath Perry), Nick Harper, Chip Taylor, Ryan Adams, The King Blues, Bleeding Hearts, Young James Long, Unabombers, The Apples, Spiers and Boden (Bellowhead) to name a few and with more bigger names in the pipeline over the last year The Maze has grown into Nottingham's best underground venue.
