A Hybrid Vehicle or a Compact Fluorescent Light. How Green are Green Products?

We will pick up the topic we postponed at our last meet up. We will exercise the sacred right to exercise our critical thinking, question the truth behind green marketing and scientifically evaluate the environmental impact of so called green products. We will look beyond the advertised environmental benefits which focused only on a limited portion of the life of the product, it's USE. We will take the Big Picture through the evaluation tools provided by Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), and take out the environmental 'skeletons out of the closet' in some of those green products designed to make us believe that by buying them we will ACTUALLY make the world greener or reduce global warming.
