Machine Head
How do you create a masterpiece of modern metal? Is it a conscious effort on the part of the artists or is it something more organic - a confluence of events and moods, emotions and mechanics that all come together in the right place at the right time? That's the question that comes to mind upon the first listen to Machine Head's sixth studio album The Blackening. Guitars rip, drums pound, bass thunders and lyrics resonate as the Bay Area quartet soars past the bar set by its critically-lauded predecessor Through the Ashes of Empires. Megadeth
Less than a minute into United Abominations opening track, "Sleepwalker," Dave Mustaine and Megadeth make their intentions clear: to deliver nothing less than a jarring, shocking and absolutely awe-inspiring rude awakening to the heavy metal community. A classically tinged intro that instantly recognizable, nerve-rattling, gut-wrenching chug-chug that unmistakable, sneering wail and then BAM: Wake Up, Heavy Metal Masses! Wake Up, Dead! Megadeth is back to spark your mind and stir your soul with a shot of adrenaline that forces you to react.

House Of Blues - Myrtle Beach
House of Blues Myrtle Beach opened in 1997 and is located along the White Pointe Swash stretch of ocean thought to have been a favorite hiding spot for famous pirates such as Edward "Blackbeard" Teach and Anne Bonney. Home to unique pieces of folk art by Jimmy Lee Sudduth and Ruth Mae McCrane, House of Blues Myrtle Beach was built to resemble a Southern farmhouse with adjoining tobacco warehouse. The music hall is sheathed in authentic tin from an old tobacco barn from Jackson Mississippi. In keeping with tradition, the House of Blues Myrtle Beach displays the "Crazy Quilt" and keeps a metal box of mud from the Delta Mississippi underneath its stage. The House of Blues Myrtle Beach tickets are mainly for general admission/standing room with 60 bar stools being first come first serve to general admission ticket holders. Loge seating overlooking the stage and dance floor includes cocktail service and is available at a slightly higher price through the box office only. Brunches/dinner shows are reserved family style seating. Located in the Barefoot Landing area, near restaurants, bars, specialty stores, waterway cruises, and more. There is a full service restaurant specializing in Cajun food and offering pizza, sandwiches, salads, and more. There is also a Blues Bar in the restaurant featuring live music nightly. The sugar Shack Deck features a raw bar and Top 40 dance music, plus a bar with live music in the courtyard. The Music Hall has 4 bars (3 downstairs, 1 upstairs) and also offers club food, tenders, sandwiches, and chips and salsa. Band merchandise is available in the Music Hall on event nights. The House Of Blues Myrtle Beach retail store is located in the Courtyard and is open year-round. Not only does the venue offer all that, the House of Blues Myrtle Beach schedule is jam packed with the most talented recording artists in the game today. Yet the House of Blues Myrtle Beach tickets are priced so that anybody can afford to go and support their favorite acts.
