A hit off-Broadway and internationally, Menopause The Musical comes to El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. This funny and inspiring musical parody show finds the humor in a woman's "change of life" and is set to classic tunes from the '60s, '70s and '80s. The action takes place in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra meet by chance at a lingerie sale. They poke fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created among these diverse women as they realize that menopause is a shared experience that need not be suffered in silence.
