Description
This display on the history of Walsh University was mounted at the Hoover Historical Center by students in the University's Museum Studies program.The exhibit combines nostalgic pieces of the proud past of Walsh College, such as the first yearbook from 1964, with current technology reflecting the story of growth and expansion that has produced an exemplary faith-based University and a great pride to the community. Also among several items and photographs displayed is a digital photo frame that showcases students' recent global learning experience in Uganda and Rome.The display also encompasses the vision of its founders, the Brothers of Christian Instruction who continue to hold a presence on campus, involved with curriculum and students' activities.Tours are conducted hourly, 1-4 p.m., Weds.-Sat. Advance reservations required for groups of 8 or more and available Mon.-Fri.
