Apple Picking

September in New England means apple picking! Why not take the kids on a hayride to the apple orchard and then pick your own apples? It's a fun and healthy family activity - not to mention a great photo opportunity! We will meet at the hayride at 10am. You will need to purchase your own hayride tickets and baskets for apple picking. The prices for apple picking have not been posted online yet, so I will update that when the date gets closer. I will try to get photos of each child and family individually during the event. The coverage will be mostly "documentary" in style (ie, candid and opposed to posed), so that I can capture the events of the day as they occur, but I will also try to get at least one posed family photo of each family. I plan to spend about an hour photographing the apple picking. At that point, we will let you decide what you'd like to do on your own. You are definitely welcome to stay and enjoy everything the farm has to offer, but I do realize that some of the younger children have a short window of energy, so you're free to leave whenever you need to! The session fee for this event is $25 per family. This is to cover my time photographing everyone and processing, retouching, and enhancing the images afterwards. Digital images, prints, and other keepsakes are sold separately. $25 covers your entire immediate family (parents and children). You do not need to pay an additional fee if you have more than one child. Extended family (grandparents, cousins, etc.) are not included, however. This session is limited to 5 families (plus me!), so that I can adequately cover the event. In case of rain or inclement weather, I will try to reschedule the event for the closest available date. I will check in a couple days before the event to check the weather and give you a heads up. We may wait until the night before or morning of the event to make the final call about whether the event is cancelled/rescheduled due to rain. If the event is rescheduled and the new date/time does not work for you, I will refund your session fee.
