Trio Mediæval blends astonishing voices blend in eerily lovely polyphonic harmonies, in repertoire that arches from medieval folk songs to contemporary compositions. The ensemble has thrilled audiences throughout Europe and the United States and released chart-topping recordings, the most recent of which, Folk Songs, was nominated for a 2008 Grammy Award. This event is part of MINDS WIDE OPEN: Virginia Celebrates Women in the Arts.
