Presented by the Feldman Chamber Music Society Nelson Lee, violin Meg Freivogel, violin Liz Freivogel, viola Daniel McDonough, cello Program:* Haydn - Quartet in F minor, Op. 20, No. 5 Golijov - Yiddishbbuk: Inscriptions for String Quartet (1992) Beethoven - Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 127 Holy catgut, Batman! It had pedal-to-the-metal pacing, was absolutely together and was exquisitely in tune. It was also a masterful reading of a masterpiece, with confident tempo modifications and amazingly mature expression. - THE AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATEMAN 6:30 pm Complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres 7:00 pm Concert preview with Dwight Davis of WHRO Post-concert complimentary reception with the musicians * Program subject to change
