Description
For 49 years, the Little Orchestra Society has been challenging and inspiring the imaginations of children. Through active participation, it exposes youngsters to classical, contemporary, jazz and the music of many international cultures. At LOS concerts, young people learn about musical structure, rhythm and dynamics; the lives and times of the great composers; and the relationship among music, opera, dance and theater. Concert series are geared toward specific age groups. Occasionally, celebrity guests join founding music director Dino Anagnost.
