Description
We are meeting to get to know each other a little better over some cocktails and appetizers before heading to the performance starting at 8 PM. We will meet in front of Galapagos before the show (7:15). I will arrange catering (appetizers) beforehand based on how many people are going. Drinks will be available through the bar. We will have icebreaker questions such as: -What types of jazz do you enjoy? -What is your favorite instrument? -When did you first fall in love with jazz? After we've mingled with each other a little bit we'll head into the main room for the start of the show in our own area.

Astor Place Theatre
Home of the Popular Blue Man Group THE ASTOR PLACE THEATRE is located in the historic Colonnade Row, originally constructed in 1831 as a series of nine connected buildings, of which only four remain. Designed in Greek revival style, and fronted by imposing marble columns, the buildings served as residences for Astor’s and Vanderbilt’s, and are among the oldest buildings in the city. They were designated as New York City Landmarks in 1963.
