Tom Kitt with Billy Porter and Brooks Ashmanskas Part of the Ghostlight Series

Tom Kitt and Friends, directed by Daisy Prince, is an evening featuring songs from Next to Normal, High Fidelity, and other projects with a few surprises thrown in. Special guests will include Julia Murney, Jenn Collela, Amy Spanger, Kelli Ohara, Gavin Creel, Aaron Tveit, Alice Ripley, and more. 

Tom Kitt is the composer and co-orchestrator of High Fidelity (Broadway) and Next to Normal (Second Stage), which received the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best New Score (Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Drama League nominations). He composed the original music for From Up Here (MTC), and his songs with the Tom Kitt Band have been featured in film and TV (Dawson's Creek). 

Currently, Tom is the musical director and pianist/conductor for the new Broadway musical, 13. As a musical director, conductor, and arranger, he has worked on several other Broadway and Off-Broadway shows including Laugh Whore, Urban Cowboy and Debbie Does Dallas. Upcoming: A new production of Next to Normal at Arena Stage and The Untitled Punk Project. 

 
Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight presents this weekly concert series every Monday night at 11:30PM at Joe's Pub, beginning in September and continuing through December. The label will offer concerts featuring Broadway performers and composers, The Midnight Musicals with concert versions of new and developing productions, and much more. The concert series marks a throwback to the early days of Sh-K-Boom Records, when they offered popular late night concerts in their Sh-K-Boom Room.
