Hailing from the South, vocalist & poet DeeAnne Gorman graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, DC & continued studies at The New School in New York. Following a stint in France where she sang with Studio Voices of Paris & read & published her poetry on the European scene, she is now based in New York City. She continues voice & piano studies, & her live music performances have varied from blending her own poetry with jazz song, cabaret productions she co-wrote & in which she starred, to more recently, regular jazz gigs around town.
