Olmsted and Vaux designed the North Woods to replicate the forests of the Adirondack Mountains with its crystal streams, calming cascades, and rustic bridges. There's no need to fight the traffic on the Thruway this summer. This scenic and meditative walk is right in New York City's backyard.
