 Virtuoso jazz violinist Regina Carter draws on the rhythm and blues of her native Detroit, East Indian music, popular standards of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, and her classical background. Soulful vocalist Simone, daughter of musical icon Nina Simone, performs big-band tunes based on her mother's arrangements.  Admission to this event is free and there are no tickets required.
