This young man with a horn has a smooth sound all his own. A student of trumpet master Woody Shaw, Chris Botti spent time on stage and in the studio with Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Natalie Merchant, and Sting before launching his phenomenally successful solo career. His latest hit CD, Italia, features songs and music inspired by the romantic aura of Italy.
