Description
Jeffrey Steele is Grammy nominated for Country Song of the Year for his writing credit for the Rascal Flatts’ hit “What Hurts The Most†as well as the BMI Writer of the Year in 2003 and 2007. Steele was given the same award from the NSAI in both 2003, 2005 and 2006. In addition to Rascal Flatts, Jeffrey has penned hits for Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Faith Hill, Trace Adkins and Tim McGraw, to name a few. He is Music Row Magazine’s reigning songwriter and song of the year winner. Steele has also had a hand in producing Country artists Montgomery Gentry and Keith Anderson. Jeffrey is currently starring as one of the judges/mentors on Season 6 of NBC's Nashville Star.
