Falu

Falu is a classically trained Indian vocalist combining Hindi music with a pop/rock sound. Backed by a band of NYC musicians, Falu has developed a signature style that is catching the ears of music fans across the city.

Falu has worked with an array of artists including Karsh Kale & Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project. Not only can she tear up the rock clubs in downtown Manhattan, but she also serves as one of Carnegie Hall's Music Ambassadors to NYC. In addition, last year, Falu teamed up with Wyclef Jean to lend her voice to the score of Angelina Jolie's new documentary A Place in Time, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in the spring of 2007, while most recently she has performed for National Geographic in Washington, D.C. and collaborated on a track for DJ Logic.
