DraftWork is a free, low-tech, afternoon series curated by Ishmael Houston-Jones, which is designed to give artists an opportunity to show works-in-progress. An informal discussion and reception follows the afternoon of performance.
Talya Epstein breaks down the established hierarchies of control using physically taxing games which result in a winner and loser in the duet showgame: round two.
Choreographer Tara O'Con and dancer Jodi Bender solve physically challenging predicaments under tight time constraints and the body's increasing fatigue levels. This untitled work has original music composed and performed by Jason Sebastian.

Part of an ongoing history of experimental dance at St. Marks Church in-the-Bowery, this 200-seat sanctuary has been presenting dance performances by established choreographers to young up-and-coming artists since 1974.
