Event details: Chuck Berry's New Years Rocking Eve
Description
Join the godfather of Rock and Roll for an unforgettable New Year's celebration in the heart of New York City on the very same block where the Times Square Ball drops. See a living legend of Rock and Roll and then step outside to watch the New Year ring in! B.B. King Blues Club's End-of-the-Year spectacular will feature a live big-screen Time Square Ball drop, complimentary party favors, a special New Year's Eve menu and special seating available. Easy police-assisted access into the venue via 42nd street and 8th avenue will make it easy to avoid waiting in line or getting crushed by crowds.
Chuck Berry's music has transcended generations. He earns respect to this day because he is truly an entertainer. Berry gained success by watching the audience's reaction and playing accordingly, putting his listeners' amusement above all else. For this reason, tunes like "Johnny B. Goode," "Maybellene" and "Memphis" have become anthems to an integrated American youth and popular culture. Berry is a musical icon who established rock and roll as a musical form and brought the worlds of black and white together in song.
- VERY IMPORTANT! - All New Year's Eve ticket holders for the 10:30PM show should enter the block from the NorthEast corner of 42nd Street and 8th Avenue. To enter the block, ALL ticketholders must present their hard ticket at the police barricade to get on the block. Anyone with Will Call tickets should look for a BB King Representative (they will be wearing BB King Hats & Sweatshirts and may have a BB King's sign), who will give them their ticket there, at which point they should follow the directions listed above.

The Dan Band
The Dan Band is a comedy band from Los Angeles, California, created by actor/comedian Dan Finnerty. Their live show has become a staple of Los Angeles nightlife, with Entertainment Weekly naming it "the hottest ticket in town." Dan has made notable appearances in the movies Old School (singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart"), The Terminal, Starsky & Hutch, where he performed Roberta Flack's "Feel Like Makin' Love" at a Bat Mitzvah, and most recently The Hangover (performing Candy Shop and Fame)...More about BB Kings / Lucille's Bar & Grille
