Blue Man Group is one of New York's longest-running shows and one of its hardest to describe! In the show, three enigmatic bald and blue characters take the audience through a multi-sensory experience that combines theater, percussive music, art, science and vaudeville into a form of entertainment that is like nothing else either on or off Broadway. Astor Place Theatre
Home of the Popular Blue Man GroupTHE ASTOR PLACE THEATRE is located in the historic Colonnade Row, originally constructed in 1831 as a series of nine connected buildings, of which only four remain. Designed in Greek revival style, and fronted by imposing marble columns, the buildings served as residences for Astor’s and Vanderbilt’s, and are among the oldest buildings in the city. They were designated as New York City Landmarks in 1963.
