Description
The Billboard Touring Conference unites today's most successful promoters, agents, managers, venue operators, sponsors, digital music executives, merchandising companies and production professionals to discuss the state of the industry, network and do business.
Guided by Ray Waddell, Billboard’s executive director of content and programming for touring and live entertainment, this unique event includes potent panel topics, provocative discussions, productive roundtables as well as networking opportunities with touring industry power players and decision makers.
This two-day conference is capped off by the Billboard Touring Awards, which honors the concert industry's top artists and professionals based on actual data compiled through the Billboard Boxscore chart. In 2008, the awards reception also included two special honors – The Humanitarian Award presented to Bon Jovi/Philadelphia Soul, and the Legend of Live Award, presented to The Allman Brothers Band.
