Big Apple Awards Foundation announced that the 2nd Big Apple Music Awards will take center stage at the Manhattan Center on Sunday, Nov.1 5, 2009. This marks the second time New York will host the international showcase of Caucasian, Central Asian, Middle Eastern Music. This year's milestone celebration will once again recognize and celebrate musical excellence while featuring performances from the hottest names in Caucasian, Central Asian, Middle Eastern Music. Big Apple Music Awards is featuring International Superstars including Arash, Aramik Moosakhanian, Central Asian Diva Nasiba Abdullaeva, international Super Star Ishtar-Alabina, Armenian pop sensation Nune, Georgian Super Star Dato Hudjadze, Azerbadzan Super Star Eyyub Yaqubov. More than 100 master musicians and dancers, will join forces to celebrate Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern culture. New York is a global city and consistently attracts the brightest stars and the biggest names in entertainment," said Mary Adjani, senior vice president of marketing for the Big Apple Music Awards and Visitors Authority. "From concerts to shopping to sporting events, New York is enjoyed by millions of visitors each year. We are welcome music fans from around the world." The 2nd Big Apple Music Awards will air live on Erebuni TV Nov. 15, at 7p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central. Additionally, the telecast will be seen globally in more than 35 countries. The Big Apple Music Awards Foundation is a unique, multinational membership-based association composed of music industry professionals, musicians, producers, engineers and other creative and technical recording professionals who are dedicated to improve the quality of life and the cultural prosperity for Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern music and its makers both inside and outside the United States. Established in 2007, Big Apple Music Awards representing a vibrant and passionate creative community. Headquartered in New York, Big Apple Music Awards Foundation members include music professionals from around the world. The Company operates as a virtual meeting place for its membership and the organization is dedicated year-round to strengthening this cultural community via networking opportunities and educational outreach. In mid-2008 The Big Apple Music Awards Foundation elected its first independent Board of Trustees, a group of highly motivated and well-regarded professionals from the Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern music world who are shepherding the organization through its next stages of growth. A main purpose of the Big Apple Music Awards Foundation is to recognize excellence and create a greater public awareness of the cultural diversity of Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern recording artists and creators, both domestically and internationally. The membership is international, and the releases eligible for awards are issued both inside and outside the United States.
