This is the story of the 2009 Bocuse dOr teamthe only book on the subject written with the full consent and cooperation of Chefs Boulud and Keller and the Bocuse dOr USA committee. The book traces the selection of the American team, the development of their dishes, and their rigorous training at a specially outfitted house two doors down from Kellers The French Laundry in Yountville, California. Knives at Dawn also offers intimate glimpses at two of the most acclaimed chefs in America.
