I was reading about this tool tribute, Who claims to be Tool, THERE IS ONLY ONE TOOL, There is one Maynard, one Adam, one Justin, and one Danny.

It’s one thing to play tribute to TOOL, it’s quite another to claim you are TOOL As a member of the TOOL tribute act TOOLFIST, we always expect there will be criticism as naysayers as well as fans and followers. So yes we expect and get both. Regardless, we remain a steady study of TOOL and always seek to try our best to emulate TOOL in music, performance, even philosophy. Normally I wouldn't bother calling out a "competitor" TOOL tribute act. I mean everyone has the right if they so desire. But I received an email from "Eventful" where the subject line read "TOOL to perform in New York. Upon closer inspection, (which means I had to click down 3 times), I realized it was a tribute act!!! If that wasn't enough, when I clicked on the link, there was an image that stated "TOOL to play in metro area" and used a picture of the real TOOL!!!! The final insult comes when they promote the showcase with two other tribute acts one of which does a tribute to Alice In Chains using Alice in Chains photography!!!! Ok, at least they're not claiming to be the act but come on man!!! As a an act to band like TOOL that has an eclectic, finicky, educated fan base, it's hard enough to play sincerely and without claim. It has taken us a couple of years to devotedly study and perform the music of TOOL to the best of our abilities and build the fan base we currently have. To have another tribute act go as far as claiming they are TOOL is beyond reproach, an insult to TOOL, the fans of TOOL, and to the music and entertainment community at large. I am pasting the link below. If you are as devout a TOOL fan as I am, I hope that you will share my disgust at this abberation and voice your opinion loudly.

This is not TOOL, it is a tribute act to TOOL just like TOOLFIST is. This is misrepresentation.

Tool
From Wikipedia: Tool is an American rock band, formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, California, when drummer Danny Carey joined the rehearsal of his neighbor, singer Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones and bassist Paul d'Amour, when nobody else would show up. His decision proved to be a stroke of luck when the band turned out to become a highly successful act, "introducing dark, vaguely underground metal to the preening pretentiousness of art rock" — most notably due to their influential third album, Ænima (1996). They have gained appreciation and critical praise for a complex and ever-evolving sound, that ranges from "s...
