Webster Hall New York is a premiere entertainment venue located in city's famous East Village. Webster Hall New York has 4 floors of remarkable stages, dance floors and lounges. Opened in 1886, and an entertainment venue even then, Webster Hall New York now stands as one of the most historical and cultural icons in the Big Apple. Since its establishment, Webster Hall New York has acted as a nightclub, concert venue, corporate events center, and recording venue.Indeed, in addition to Webster Hall New York being the country’s first modern nightclub, it gained widespread recognition as a recording studio. In the 1950s and 60s, Webster Hall New York faciltated recordings by RCA Records. Elvis Presley, Ray Charles and Bob Dylan are just three artists who passed through the Webster Hall New York doors in order to lay down some now legendary tracks.Today, music continues to play a large part in the Webster Hall New York schedule. The venue is particularly popular with artists coming off a Madison Square Garden performance who may be looking to do an additional gig in a smaller, more intimate setting.
