2011 marks the 30th Anniversary of New York City's most popular and acclaimed jazz club, the Blue Note. The club has become so popular that locations have spread to Milan, Tokyo, and Las Vegas; however, the New York original is still widely regarded as one of the best jazz clubs in the world. Located on West 3rd Street in Greenwich Village, the Blue Note continues to entertain jazz lovers with two shows a night and a jazz brunch on Sundays. With a comfortable, refined atmosphere, the Blue Note has certainly become one of the most popular nightlife destinations in the city.

Not only does the Blue Note offer audiences a unique live music experience, but many of the artists that perform record live albums during their session. Many of these albums have been nominated for Grammy Awards, and audiences present for the performance experience are immortalized on the record. The club is also a favorite of celebrity musicians, who sometimes perform impromptu songs not on the regular event schedule.
